Mid-level system integration engineer

Your tasks include:
- Design, develop, and manage integration solutions to ensure seamless communication between diverse IT systems;
- Work closely with various customers’ IT departments to understand system requirements and propose integration solutions;
- Document system integrations in accordance with established best practices;
- Collaborate with ours and customers’ IT teams to design and implement application integrations, ensuring stability and scalability;
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing integrations, ensuring minimal downtime and smooth operations;
- Stay updated with emerging integration technologies and methods to ensure best-in-class system performance;
- Work proactively to anticipate IT issues before they arise, implementing preventive measures;
- Develop reports and data extractions to facilitate better system analytics and business insights;
- Research and develop innovative methods to tackle system integration challenges, ensuring future scalability and adaptability;
- Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, translating their requirements into effective technical solutions.
We seek teammates that have:
- 3+ years of experience in system integration, ideally within complex IT environments;
- A degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field;
- Proficiency in integration tools and software relevant to the industry;
- Strong understanding of software, hardware, and network systems, and the intricacies of integrating them;
- Proven problem-solving abilities, both from a technical and strategic perspective;
- Impeccable communication skills, capable of translating complex technical information into understandable terms for diverse stakeholders;
- A proactive approach to system challenges, with a track record of anticipating and mitigating potential issues;
- A commitment to continuous learning, staying updated with the latest in integration technologies and methodologies;
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively with various internal departments and external partners;
- Proficiency in both English and Slovenian.
